11 must be Nemaha Central's lucky number: they beat Holton with that score not once but twice on Tuesday. The Thunder beat the Wildcats by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 11-1. The result was nothing new for the Thunder, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Nemaha Central's third in a row) raised their record to 8-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Holton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.
