Football Recap: East Alton-Wood River Comes Up Short on the Road Against Chester

East Alton-Wood River kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They were beaten by the Chester Yellowjackets 55-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Looking ahead, East Alton-Wood River will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Civic Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chester, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Pinckneyville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
