Basketball Game Preview: Colebrook Academy Mohawks vs. Littleton Crusaders

The Colebrook Academy Mohawks will square off against the Littleton Crusaders at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, everything came up roses for Colebrook Academy against Gorham as the team secured a 65-19 win. The Mohawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Littleton put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 45-34 victory over Pittsburg. Given the Crusaders' advantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire basketball rankings (they are ranked third, while the Panthers are ranked 36th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Colebrook Academy is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Littleton, their win was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-0.

Colebrook Academy came up short against Littleton in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 51-44. Can Colebrook Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
