The Humboldt Vikings will head out to square off against the Greenfield Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Humboldt has given up an average of 39.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Humboldt is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Dresden on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Vikings were dealt a 70-26 loss at the hands of the Lions. The Vikings have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Greenfield owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 30-0 victory over West Carroll. The Yellowjackets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 23 points or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Greenfield and bumps their season record up to 3-3. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.5 points over those games. As for Humboldt, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
