Baseball Recap: Summerfield Waldorf Takes a Loss

The Summerfield Waldorf Mustangs came up short against the Swett Warriors on Saturday and fell 11-7.

Shane S made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-5 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gianni C, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base.

Summerfield Waldorf's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Swett, they pushed their record up to 11-5-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Summerfield Waldorf will square off against Potter Valley at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Swett does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
