Soccer Recap: Queen's Grant Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Queen's Grant was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They came up short against the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots, falling 6-1. Queen's Grant were not able to make up for their loss to Piedmont Community Charter from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Queen's Grant's goal came courtesy of Ian Viana, which was the first he's scored this season.

Queen's Grant's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-5. As for Piedmont Community Charter, the win got them back to even at 2-2-2.

Queen's Grant didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Gray Stone Day on the 4th. As for Piedmont Community Charter, they will face off against Jackson Day at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
