Basketball Recap: Ashtin Feemster's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Clover over Victory Christian Center

The Clover Blue Eagles lost to the Victory Christian Center Kings at home by a 61-46 margin on Saturday. The matchup marked the Blue Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Several Blue Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ashtin Feemster, who posted ten points and three steals. Feemster is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Jackson Hill was another key player, putting up six points and three steals.

Victory Christian Center's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Deshawn Coulter, who had 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carlos Marshall, who scored 13 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Clover fell to 4-1. As for Victory Christian Center, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-11.

Clover didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-23 victory against Powdersville on the 9th. As for Victory Christian Center, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 67-56 loss against Phoenix Montessori Academy on the 9th.
