Volleyball Recap: West Point Falls to Hernando

The West Point Green Wave came up short against the Hernando Tigers on Friday and fell 2-0. The Green Wave have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While West Point ultimately came up short, they really made Hernando work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 26-24.

West Point has now lost seven of their last nine games at home. That leaves them at a 2-7 record this season. As for Hernando, they pushed their record up to 10-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Coming up, West Point will challenge Columbus at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hernando, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Wetumpka on the 4th.
