It was fun while it lasted, but Lincoln's undefeated season came to an end after nine games on Friday. They took a hard 59-43 fall against the St. John's/Tipton Catholic Blujays. The matchup marked the Leopards' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

It was another big night for Edward Horinek, who went 8 for 18 en route to 28 points and seven steals for St. John's/Tipton Catholic. The game was Horinek's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyson Gates, who posted seven points and five steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lincoln fell to 9-1. As for St. John's/Tipton Catholic, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.

While Lincoln had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
