Bayside Academy extended their home winning streak to eight games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Brennen Yamane. The Admirals enjoyed a cozy 30-13 win over the Montgomery Academy Eagles on Friday thanks in part to Yamane, who rushed for 170 yards and one score while picking up 8.9 yards per carry, and also caught one touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 85-yard run.

Another player making a difference was Davis Barnett, who threw for 224 yards and three TDs while completing 80.6% of his passes. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last four games he's played.

Bayside Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Billy Neill and Noah Cain. Another thorn in Montgomery Academy's side was Monroe Partin, who made 12 total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Bayside Academy's victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Montgomery Academy, they moved to 11-2 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Coming up, Bayside Academy will be playing at home against Southside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' defense has only allowed 11.9 points per game this season, so the Admirals' offense will have their work cut out for them. Montgomery Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
