Volleyball Recap: Wray Takes a Loss

Wray was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Wiggins Tigers, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.

Wray took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-14, 25-20.

Katie Harms paced Wray's offense, picking up seven kills. Harms got some help from Emerson Rockwell and her six assists. Finally, Kyla Kramer and Mariah Deland kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked two attacks.

Wray's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Wiggins, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Wray nor Wiggins have any future games scheduled.
