Basketball Recap: Marion County Snags Fifth Victory in Last Six Games

Marion County hadn't done well against Knox County recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Marion County Mustangs came out on top against the Knox County Eagles by a score of 53-46. While the Mustangs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-10), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Marion County has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points per game. As for Knox County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-10.
