Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Advanced Math & Science Academy walked away with it. They blew past the Triton Regional Vikings 14-1 on Sunday. The Eagles' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Ava McLeod made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, Advanced Math & Science Academy let Brooke Laudate and Madelyn Glynn run wild. Laudate went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs, while Glynn went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Kathleen Galvin was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run.

Advanced Math & Science Academy's victory bumped their record up to 19-0. As for Triton Regional, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-11 record.

As of now, neither Advanced Math & Science Academy nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
