Football Recap: Belleview Extends Winning Streak to Three

Belleview extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Hannah Mason. Everything went the Rattlers' way against the West Port Wolf Pack on Tuesday as they made off with a 26-6 victory for which the team can thank Mason, who threw for 217 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in one TD on the ground. She didn't just play on offense: she also made three total tackles and defended one pass.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Belleview's defense and their five sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Bella Maurice and Jazmyn Rivas, who racked up all five sacks between them. Maurice has been hot, having also posted five or more total tackles the last eight times she's played.

Belleview's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for West Port, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Belleview has already played their next match, a 33-0 victory against Forest on the 2nd. As for West Port, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 31-16 win against North Marion on the 3rd.
