Volleyball Recap: Kenston Victorious

The Kenston Bombers were able to grind out a solid victory over the Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs on Saturday, taking the game 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bombers.

Kenston easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-12.

Avari Amstutz paced Kenston's offense, picking up six kills. Amstutz were helped by Maci Amstutz and Emily Grubich, who contributed eight assists each.

When it comes to explaining why Stow-Munroe Falls lost, don't look at Zoey Mccullough. Despite the final result, she had ten digs and two aces.

Kenston's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Kenston will be playing in front of their home fans against Brunswick at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Stow-Munroe Falls, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy on the 16th.
