Football Recap: Evanston Devils vs. Vista Ridge Wolves

After flying high against Ben Lomond last Friday, Evanston came back down to earth. The Evanston Devils came up short against the Vista Ridge Wolves on Friday, falling 38-14.

Zayden Stevens was a one-man wrecking crew for Vista Ridge as he threw for 237 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.9 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 38 yards and a touchdown. Aidan Vanaman was Stevens' top target, picking up 89 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Evanston's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Vista Ridge, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Evanston will take on Riverton on Friday. As for Vista Ridge, they will look to take advantage of their home-field for the first time this season as they take on Denver South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
