Volleyball Recap: Conway Takes a Loss

Conway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Ava. Conway was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Ava apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Conway was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-17, 25-12.

Adalee Letterman paced Conway's offense, picking up 12 kills. Letterman got some help from Arianna Hughes and her nine assists. Letterman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Conway's defeat dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Ava, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-12-2.

Conway wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Dixon on the 14th. As for Ava, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Thayer on the 14th.
