Football Recap: Dakota Cougars vs. Sterling Heights Stevenson Titans
Dakota won the last time they faced Sterling Heights Stevenson and things went their way on Friday too. The Cougars took down the Titans 28-14. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Cougars' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 13th, while the Titans are ranked 61st).
Nikkos Davis was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 115 yards and three touchdowns.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Dakota's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Evan Wolf, Anthony (Aj) Arini, and Tyson Dutt, who each picked up one sack apiece. Dakota received some extra help from Rashad Wilson, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
