It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lancaster had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Rush-Henrietta Royal Comets with a sharp 11-2 win. Considering the Legends have won nine contests by more than eight runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Alyssa Brunner was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.
