Basketball Recap: Red Rock Central Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Red Rock Central had lost four straight headed into Thursday's contest, but Henry Stavnes didn't let it get to five. The Red Rock Central Falcons came out on top in a nail-biter against the Adrian/Ellsworth Dragons on Thursday, sneaking past 44-41 thanks in part to Stavnes, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 14 boards. Those 14 rebounds gave him a new career-high.

Red Rock Central's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-8. As for Adrian/Ellsworth, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Red Rock Central will head out on the road to square off against Wabasso at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Adrian/Ellsworth, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda at 7:30 p.m.
