Softball Recap: Warwick Raiders vs. Denbigh Patriots
Warwick won against Denbigh on Tuesday with 17 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Raiders walked away with a 17-14 win over the Patriots. The victory continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won six in a row.
Addison Burr was incredible, going 2-for-5 with one home run, two stolen bases, and five RBI. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Jamiyah Fitzgerald also deserves some recognition as she scored her first runs of the season.
Warwick was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Denbigh only posted a batting average of .235.
