Harford Tech took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Havre de Grace, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cobras came out on top in a nail-biter against the Warriors on Tuesday, sneaking past 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cobras have posted since March 16, 2024.

Not much got past Mikayla McJilton, who gave up just three hits and racked up eight Ks to keep Havre de Grace off the board.

On the hitting side, Harford Tech's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Lyric Strong, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Harford Tech's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-8. As for Havre de Grace, they moved to 9-4 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
