Basketball Recap: Frontier Takes a Loss

After flying high against Stockdale last Thursday, Frontier came back down to earth. The Frontier Titans fell to the North Stars 58-54. The Titans have struggled against the Stars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

When it comes to explaining why Frontier lost on Saturday, don't look at Dallin Crawford. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. That's the most boards Crawford has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Zach Garnett, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 boards.

Frontier's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for North, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 16-4.

Frontier will be playing in front of their home fans against Liberty at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Frontier is facing Liberty at the right time seeing as Liberty is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for North, they will head out on the road to square off against East Bakersfield at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
