Softball Recap: Fredonia Lynx vs. El Capitan/Centennial Academy

Fredonia can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Saturday. Everything went their way against El Capitan/Centennial Academy as the Fredonia Lynx made off with a 12-6 win. The victory was just what Fredonia needed coming off of a 14-3 loss in their prior match.

Danni Waters made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out 15 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk). Waters has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances. Waters was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Charlie Anderson, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5. Another player making a difference was Gracie Castor, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4.
