Bel Air's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Parkland Matadors. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Highlanders as it put an end to their six-match losing streak.

The win didn't come easy: Parkland scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 23-25, 25-20, 25-19.

Bel Air's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 12-13. As for Parkland, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 12-17.
