Football Recap: Mt. Markham Comes Up Short

After flying high against Beaver River last Friday, Mt. Markham came back down to earth. The matchup between the Mustangs and the Dolgeville Blue Devils didn't end well, with the Mustangs falling 26-7. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Blue Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Mt. Markham's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Dolgeville, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mt. Markham is set to square off against their familiar foe Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th. Meanwhile, Dolgeville will challenge rival Herkimer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
