Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Indio). They came out on top against the Valley Center Jaguars by a score of 72-60 on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Rajahs as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Indio's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Valley Center, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

Indio won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Calexico at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Indio has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Valley Center, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against San Jacinto at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
