Football Recap: Patrick Henry Falls to Grossmont in First Game of Season

Patrick Henry unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were outmatched by the Grossmont Foothillers and fell 42-14. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Foothillers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Looking ahead, Patrick Henry will take on La Jolla at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Grossmont, they will square off against Westview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
