Soccer Recap: Argyle Find Success

Argyle won the last time they faced Richland and things went their way on Friday too. The Argyle Eagles won by a goal and slipped past the Richland Royals 2-1. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Royals are ranked 118th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Argyle's win bumped their record up to 5-1-1. As for Richland, they moved to 6-2-1 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
