The matchup between Burns and Cherryville on Friday hardly resembled the 2-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Bulldogs blew past the Ironmen 15-4. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 matches by six runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Burns and bumps their season record up to 22-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for Cherryville, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-7.
