Soccer Recap: Iowa Valley Finishes Even with Solon

For the first time this season, Iowa Valley was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the Solon Spartans could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Iowa Valley's draw gives them a new season record of 3-8-1. As for Solon, they moved theirs to 4-7-4.

Coming up, Iowa Valley will venture away from home to face off against South Tama County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Solon, they will welcome Baxter at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Solon will be up against Baxter's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.5 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
