Baseball Recap: Wharton Wildcats vs. Alonso Ravens

Wharton lost to Alonso back in April of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Wharton Wildcats came out on top against the Alonso Ravens by a score of 7-2.

Daniel Duno tossed a big game, pitching 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits.

On the hitting side, Justis Meadows was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Cobb, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

On Alonso's side, Samuel Fernandez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with a home run. Carson Vega was another key contributor, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.
