Baseball Recap: Hoopa Valley Comes Up Short

Hoopa Valley fell victim to Ferndale and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent loss being a 18-0 defeat on Tuesday.

Hoopa Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Barret Myers, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Hoopa Valley and nudges their season record down to 12-9. As for Ferndale, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hoopa Valley will square off against rival St. Bernard's at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ferndale is set to challenge their familiar foe South Fork at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
