Moundridge won the last time they faced Chaparral and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wildcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Roadrunners. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Despite the loss, Chaparral still got an impressive performance from Joscelyn Hazel, who had seven digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Aliya Davis, who had ten digs.

Moundridge's win bumped their record up to 25-2-2. As for Chaparral, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-14 record this season.

Coincidentally, Moundridge and Chaparral will both be playing Central Christian Academy the next time they take the court. The Roadrunners will head out to face the Lions at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 4:00 p.m.
