Soccer Recap: St. Mary's Takes a Loss

St. Mary lost against Ravenscroft back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Saints fell 2-0 to the Ravens. St. Mary's have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Mary's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Ravenscroft, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-8-1.

St. Mary's and Ravenscroft could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. The Saints (ranked 188th) will meet Cary Academy (ranked 35th) at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Ravenscroft will face off against DASH at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (248 vs. 47).
