Basketball Game Preview: Preston Indians vs. Spring Creek Spartans

The Preston Indians will take on the Spring Creek Spartans in a tournament on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Preston is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Blackfoot 90-52. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Spring Creek entered their tilt with Wooster on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They took their game with ease, bagging a 62-35 win over the Colts.

Spring Creek's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.7 points. As for Preston, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Everything came up roses for Preston against Spring Creek when the teams last played back in December of 2014, as the team secured a 69-31 victory. Does Preston have another victory up their sleeve, or will Spring Creek turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
