Flag Football Game Preview: Carson Colts vs. San Pedro Pirates

Carson is 0-3 against San Pedro since October of 2024 but things could change on Monday. The Colts will take on the Pirates at 3:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Carson 14.8, San Pedro 9.5) so any points scored will be well earned.

Carson's offense might be in the hot seat on Monday considering what happened against King/Drew on Monday. They fell 13-0 to the Golden Eagles.

Even if they lost, Carson's defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. The heavy lifting was done by SORIYAH MAULUPE and ROMERO MELODY, who racked up all four sacks between them.

Meanwhile, San Pedro entered their tilt with Port of Los Angeles on Monday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Polar Bears, posting a 38-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won 11 matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

San Pedro's win bumped their record up to 21-3. As for Carson, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11-2.

Carson took a serious blow against San Pedro when the teams last played back in September, falling 27-0. Can the Colts avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
