Softball Recap: Central Cabarrus Takes a Loss

Central Cabarrus lost against South Rowan two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Vikings fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 9-8. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Central Cabarrus' loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for South Rowan, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Central Cabarrus is set to square off against their familiar foe Concord at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, South Rowan will challenge rival Lake Norman Charter at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
