Bradley Central barely beat East Hamilton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bears blew past the Hurricanes 12-1 on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won seven contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Nathan Thompson, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, four RBI, and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jaxon Humble, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Bradley Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .588. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East Hamilton only posted an OBP of .167.

Bradley Central pushed their record up to 11-10-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for East Hamilton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-11.
