Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Woodgrove). They took their match on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 79-37 victory over the Park View Patriots. Given the Wolverines' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 159th, while the Patriots are ranked 347th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Woodgrove's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dane Marsh, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 boards. With that strong performance, Marsh is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. Will Twetten was another key player, putting up 18 points.

The win (which was Woodgrove's fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-6. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.6 points per game. As for Park View, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Woodgrove will challenge Tuscarora at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Park View, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Stone Bridge at 7:15 p.m. One thing working in Stone Bridge's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
