Onalaska waltzed into their contest on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the DeForest Norskies. This was payback for the Hilltoppers, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Natalie Marso paced Onalaska's offense, picking up six kills. Marso were helped by Isabella Eckstein and Lauren Pica, who contributed seven assists each. Zayda Lawrence controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Despite the loss, DeForest still got an impressive performance from Marissa Titel, who had 13 digs and three assists.

Onalaska's win bumped their record up to 15-7. As for DeForest, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 17-8 record.

Onalaska has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Verona on the 27th. As for DeForest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Mount Horeb on the 27th.
