Reagan came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Mount Tabor, but Shaymiah Bailey wouldn't allow it. The Mount Tabor Spartans enjoyed a cozy 49-33 win over the Reagan Raiders on Friday thanks in part to Bailey, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last 16 games she's played.

Brooke Cilento was another key player, going 5 for 8 on her way to 10 points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Reagan's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Grace Galyon, who posted six points along with five boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Kayla George, who earned 11 points.

The victory made it two in a row for Mount Tabor and bumps their season record up to 7-14. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points over those games. As for Reagan, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-8.

Looking ahead, Mount Tabor will venture away from home to square off against Parkland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Parkland is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.8 points per game this season. As for Reagan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against R.J. Reynolds at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Reagan is facing R.J. Reynolds at the right time seeing as R.J. Reynolds is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
