Football Recap: Hunter Gets the Win

The Hunter Wolverines slipped by the Highland Rams 14-13 on Friday.

The critical scores for Hunter came from Evan Fallis and Landon Graham.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Hunter proved: they limited Highland to a paltry 0.7 yards per carry. While three picked up at least one total tackle, Aysan Sanaphanh stood above the rest. He picked up a sack and made one tackle. Hunter's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 3.6.

The victory got Hunter back to even at 1-1. As for Highland, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Hunter will face off against Copper Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Highland, they will square off against Viewmont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
