Soccer Recap: Rosemont Wins Going Away Against Argonaut

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Liberty Ranch, Rosemont was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Argonaut Mustangs a 2-0 shutout. That two goal margin sets a new team best for the Wolverines this season.

Luis Guerra-Vigil and Jesus Luna scored both of Rosemont's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Rosemont's victory bumped their record up to 4-6-3. As for Argonaut, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12-1.

Rosemont will host Bradshaw Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Argonaut, they will venture away from home to square off against Amador at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Argonaut's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
