Volleyball Recap: East Troy Takes a Loss

East Troy entered their matchup against Delavan-Darien on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Trojans fell just short of the Comets by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 11th.

East Troy actually scored more points across those five sets (107-105), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 27-25, 21-25, 17-25, 15-12.

East Troy's defeat dropped their record down to 12-16. As for Delavan-Darien, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-9 record this season.

East Troy has already played their next match (against Monroe), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Delavan-Darien, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Elkhorn on the 2nd.
