Volleyball Recap: Mary Henley Sims and Evelyn Sinotte Secure Win for Johns Creek + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Johns Creek, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Roswell Hornets on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Gladiators have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hornets, too.

Johns Creek not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Roswell between 14 and 17 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-14, 25-17.

Johns Creek was led to victory by Evelyn Sinotte and Mary Henley Sims. Sinotte had nine digs and four aces, while Sims had nine digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave Sinotte a new career-high in assists (six).

They weren't the only good server: Johns Creek was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Roswell didn't served any aces.

Johns Creek has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for Roswell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-13.

Coming up, Johns Creek will host Seckinger at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Roswell, they will venture away from home to face off against Fellowship Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
