Volleyball Game Preview: Big Rapids Cardinals vs. Hart Pirates + How To Watch

The Big Rapids Cardinals will face off against the Hart Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hart took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Big Rapids, who comes in off a win.

Big Rapids will bounce into Monday's match after beating Whitehall, who they had gone 0-7 against in their seven prior meetings. The Cardinals walked away with a 2-0 win over the Vikings on Thursday.

Big Rapids easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Hart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Fremont.

Hart started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-15, 25-23.

Big Rapids' victory bumped their record up to 11-24-1. As for Hart, their loss dropped their record down to 20-22-1.

Big Rapids came up short against Hart in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Cardinals avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
