Soccer Recap: Westwood Comes Up Short

Westwood was the 2-0 winner over South Mountain when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell 2-0 to the Jaguars on Monday.

Westwood's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for South Mountain, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westwood and Valley Vista will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Westwood will be up against Valley Vista's rather soft defense (which has allowed four goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. South Mountain will take on Higley in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
