Ryle won the last time they faced Walton-Verona and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Raiders blew past the Bearcats 7-0. Considering the Raiders have won 11 games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Ryle has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Walton-Verona, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ryle will face off against Newport Central Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Walton-Verona, they will challenge Bracken County at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
