Volleyball Recap: Pueblo Takes a Loss

If Pueblo was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Cholla on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors came up short against the Cienega Bobcats on Thursday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-11, 25-10.

Pueblo has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 14 of their last 16 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-21 record this season. As for Cienega, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 23-5.

Pueblo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cienega, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Maricopa on the 9th.
